Summer Pavilion

About the project (provided by the applicant)
This light, elevated structure serves as a lounge area for relaxation. The terrace and living room open onto views of the river and surrounding nature.
The main design objective was to achieve visual lightness. This was accomplished through large-span ceilings, cantilevered overhangs, and slender supports.
The project embodies the essence of a traditional Italian courtyard (patio) — a retreat away from the bustle of the city, offering serenity and peace.
The pavilion includes everything necessary for comfortable leisure: a kitchen, a spacious living room, and an open outdoor area with sofas arranged around a firepit.
Usually, windows act as a boundary between the interior and nature, but in this project, the opposite effect is achieved. The panoramic glazing creates the illusion that no barrier exists at all, allowing guests to fully enjoy sunsets in comfort. Sliding panels provide easy access to the open terrace or the barbecue area at any moment.
