About the project (provided by the applicant)
House of the Sun is a guest house with a sauna. Its architectural volume unites interior and exterior spaces. Several recreational zones are located under an outdoor canopy.
The house is oriented to the cardinal points so that it can capture the rare rays of sunlight in the Leningrad Region throughout the day. Sunset is best observed from the sofa lounge, while in hot weather one can sunbathe in a hammock.

Olga Moiseeva — co-founder of Balka Studio. Specialization: architect, designer, landscape planner. Has extensive experience in designing industrial buildings and facilities, and has implemented several residential reconstruction projects. In 2014, she trained in Italy.
