About the project (provided by the applicant)
Designer Jenny Yasnets and chief architect Svetlana Dyakova from Art Spice Studio designed the interior of a 368 sq. m. private house for a family of four on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. “The inspiration for the color palette came from natural elements: gray sky, coastal sand, anthracite stones, white shells, and the sparkle of the sea waves,” share the project authors.
The building’s façade has remained unchanged since its construction 10 years ago, but the layout was adjusted according to the client’s requirements. On the first floor, Art Spice Studio placed the kitchen-living room, study, guest bedroom, terrace, and wardrobe; the second floor is dedicated to the master bedroom and children’s rooms.
The house features numerous contemporary art pieces as well as designer objects created specifically for this space. A terrace with a forest view was added to connect the interior with the surrounding landscape.
