Tourist Center with Hotel “TAVVL 67°”

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Tourist Center with Hotel “TAVVL 67°” is inspired by the nature of the Kola Peninsula and the extreme beauty of the Arctic region. The building is located at the intersection of a pedestrian boulevard and the waterfront in Kirovsk, making it an important public node.

The architectural concept is based on the principles of “liminality” — the transition between the city and nature, from the urban environment to the mountains and the scenic river. The composition emphasizes a clear separation of functional flows, the creation of a public square, and visual axes connecting the building to the waterfront, forming new urban landmarks. The façades reflect the harsh aesthetics of the North, combining monumentality with lightness, while the natural surroundings become an integral part of the architecture.

“TAVVL 67°” is not only a hotel and tourist center but also a cultural magnet for the region, shaping the contemporary image of the Arctic city and supporting the development of domestic tourism.
