Project
The Corten House

Nomination
Best Constructed Private Residence

About the project
The definition of ‘luxury’ has come a long way from the times of antiquity to modernity. Additionally, the interpretations of ‘urban contemporary’ have been constantly evolving as consequential phenomena of iterations in engineering, materials, technology, processes and need. The Dawar family has created its eponymous residence; one that redefines in many ways, the luxurious urban contemporary.
Fundamentally, like for everyone, for the Dawar family too, the residence has been built as a sanctuary that allows them to be who they are and its ideation reflects this desire. They believe that luxury is conscious living; one that feeds a quest to use lifestyle options to enrich themselves as individuals, to evolve as a family and build meaningful relationships.
