Project
The Lining Up

Category
Best Project of Public Building or Facility

About the project
The main idea of the project was to reflect the richness of its cultural context creating a dialogue with the ethos of its surroundings, which lead to the origin of form reflecting the edges of Sheelavanthakere Lake emanated through the process of Genealogy resulting in the number of spline edges in the built form.
This process can now be repeated adding new lines of symmetrical deformation. These open lines can be used for macro level formal moves or micro level detail. Using these parameters it is possible to create a large form embedded with a ‘Genealogy’.
