Category Best Implemented Façade or Interior Project Using Ceramics
About the project This project was designed as a Ladies 'Majlis' Seating - a structure that is part of a group of private villas for a single large family. The interior of the 'Majlis' was meant to reflect the purity and uniqueness of a 'pearl' with the use of white marble and high end and rich finishes. The spaces were to reflect a unity with other villas of the project and yet the individuality of the ladies of the family and what they resemble. Opening up and welcoming them with a Grande Piano and music - this is the place they open up and get together with one another; every area they enter into opens up to reveal a special pearl of its own mainly the foyer, the living and the dining areas. Glam and warmth brought in with the wood tones and the warm lighting - these areas are open to one another yet together exclusively secluded from the other surrounding family villas - just like a pearl.
