Project
The Raw Line Pavilion
Category
Best Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The pavilion is a temporary architectural installation constructed entirely from interlocking aluminum profiles, without the use of screws, welding, or adhesives. Designed as a modular three-dimensional grid, the structure explores the structural and spatial potential of industrial materials through precise assembly and repetition. Each element is left unaltered, allowing for complete disassembly and reuse, which results in a zero-waste, portable architecture. The pavilion functions not only as an exhibition space but also integrates practical uses, including café counters, benches, and display units—all made from the same system. Its rational form, open layout, and luminous surface qualities offer an immersive spatial experience that redefines aluminium beyond conventional applications. The project proposes a new approach to sustainable temporary architecture—systematic, circular, and spatially engaging.
