About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Weekend Villa is located on a land between the residential area in the north of the site and the agricultural lands in the south, in the city of Alavijeh, Isfahan province. This villa is designed as a ground floor for the use of elderly parents as permanent residents, and first and second floors as a duplex for the children as temporary residences to stay in on holidays.
The design idea of this project is to respect and connect these two contexts, and so the two sectors of permanent residence and temporary residence are optimally connected to each other. The building of this project is located in the northern part of the land and near the residential area of the neighborhood. Pedestrian access is from the main passageway and the view from the project site is to the garden and agricultural fabric, and it has been tried to make maximum use of the favorable light from the south.
