During the renovation of Moscow’s industrial zones, the Khrunichev Machine-Building Plant, which specialized in the production of rocket and space technology, was dismantled. As a result, a significant number of technical artifacts related to the history of the space industry were preserved.
The management of the Museum and Tourist Center in Gagarin initiated the transfer of all remaining exhibits and technological equipment recovered during the dismantling process to create a new exhibition.
The project aims to preserve the history of the technological process behind space flights and to organize efficient and thoughtful zoning of the museum space.
