The development of northern territories is a priority of state policy. Improving living comfort and attracting tourist flows to regions with an Arctic climate require a comprehensive approach to architectural and urban planning solutions. The Kola Peninsula, being a popular destination for Arctic tourism, is characterized by insufficient infrastructure and service development, as well as ongoing population outflow issues.
This project, using Monchegorsk as an example, proposes a solution to increase the attractiveness of the territory for residents and tourists through the creation of a multifunctional tourist complex. The concept involves renovating the existing yacht club, landscaping the waterfront, and adapting typical Soviet-era residential buildings for modern functions.
