About the project (provided by the applicant)
This 71 sq.m apartment in Moscow was designed for the family of a financier and combines pop culture, art objects, and premium brand furniture. The walls are hand-painted by artist Vasily Matafonov, with symbolic signs reflecting meanings important to the apartment owners. The clients requested a separate study, a functional kitchen with an island, and a space to showcase their collections.
The 36.6 sq.m kitchen-living room with three windows includes a Cesar island finished in quartzite, equipped with a cooktop, wine cooler, lighting, and hidden outlets. Illuminated glass shelves display art pieces and souvenirs.
Bright blue Midj chairs accentuate the dining area, complemented by Tom Dixon lamps and a Marvel poster. A Milano Bedding sofa converts into a bed, opposite a high-end audio system.
The guest bathroom features a built-in sink, magnetic panels, and RGB lighting. The entrance hall is furnished with a mirror, a console, and a closet, while the bedroom contains illuminated MisuraEmme wardrobes.
