Project
Russian Royal Bathhouse: Birth of a New Archetype
Category
Best Implemented Façade or Interior Project Using Ceramics
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The world’s first bathhouse realized as an absolute, cohesive tile environment. Entering it means stepping inside a work of art born at the intersection of centuries-old traditions and authorial innovation.
The key breakthrough lies in creating a harmonious dialogue between two inherently Russian materials: fiery, handcrafted ceramics and the warmth of natural wood. Achieving what once seemed impossible, making them speak the same language.
We created a unified sculptural shell entirely woven from tiles. This is a new archetype in the evolution of bathhouse design, setting a standard for how deeply ceramics can be integrated. It demonstrates how ceramics transform from a decorative element into a fundamental base, establishing a genuine precedent in global design.
Luxury here is defined not by “ostentatious wealth” but by the depth of concept and flawless execution. Every centimeter is a hymn to handcraft, and the entire bathhouse space is a precious ark designed to preserve the Russian soul.
