About the project
Functionally, the building will comprise an engineering section, a museum of plant history, a conference hall for 400 seats and a restaurant. The central cylindrical volume is adjoined by the linear side ones. The beautified premises of the plant will be tempting citizens to come and have a break from the urban hubbub.
The highlight of the project is the night illumination of the site – in the evening, the canopy at the main entrance become a media screen to which videos can be projected. Vertical planes of the complex are lighted dynamically, making all of the buildings a single scene. Being rather expressive, this venue is likely to become a new centerpiece of the city.
