UFO – Exhibition Pavilion Project

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The UFO exhibition pavilion is an architectural paradox and a fantasy imagining that an alien fleet once landed and merged with terrestrial architecture instead of leaving. Inspired by the iconic flying saucer — a symbol of mystery and futurism — the pavilion blends the technological aesthetic of industrial architecture with the poetics of myth.
Three hovering «saucers,» connected by ramps and paths, create the illusion of a sudden «landing.» The focal point is a small saucer suspended on a glass hyperboloid support. The contrast between the expressive exterior and minimalist interior emphasizes the primacy of the exhibits. Brutalist reinforced concrete columns, steel trusses, and panoramic glazing turn the industrial skeleton into a fantastical art object.
UFO is a dialogue between sky and earth, myth and technology — an architecture where reality meets imagination.
