Project
Concept of an Office Center

About the project (provided by the applicant)
This multifunctional center with original contemporary architecture on the Vasilyevsky Island landfill will combine offices, a conference hall, a training center, a gastro-lounge, a museum, and a sports complex. The design features an ecosystem of green “islands” with water views. The center will become a new landmark at the maritime gateway of St. Petersburg, symbolizing the rebellious yet thoughtful character of the city.
Authenticity is emphasized through a color palette inspired by the city—shades of the sky, water, and sand dunes. The complex appears to float above the ground, creating a sense of spatial purity and clarity, while the glass façades enhance the impression of weightlessness. The design intertwines history and the future: a bold interpretation of Soviet avant-garde architecture and “houses on stilts” harmonizes with high-tech and biotechnical elements. The new “emotional techno” style, actively emerging in Moscow and reflecting global trends, combines modern materials, innovative engineering solutions, and expressive forms that highlight, rather than hide, the complexity of the context.
