To revive the alley and the passage in the subtracted part of the building, terraces were formed that, by overlapping and creating connections on different floors, can create an extension of the space added to the alley from the material and color of the alley on the floors. The negative space is like a vertical alley that forms a new and contemporary connection of the new neighborhood connection. The folded shell, by placing itself on the created terraces, has created an intermediate space between inside and outside. This new type of vertical alley can be a proposed alternative for the regeneration of the alley and from the repetition of those neighborhoods on a larger scale, to achieve dynamic neighborhoods like in the past.

Applicant
Ghasem Navaei founded his own JAJ office in 2017. He designed various projects with different utilizations such as villa, residental, apartments, commercial. In the design of the apartment, an attempt was made to recreate a possible space in this context, despite the loss of the function of the neighborhood and the old alleys, in the design of the form and plan of the project, by removing and removing the shell of the building, hollow spaces were formed, part of which was added to the alley and part was formed in the facade as the main openings of the project.
