Project
VIGVAM primary eco-school and kindergarten

Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student

About the project
The images of rural vacation, a teepee made of sticks, and all the nature around you from your childhood became the inspiration of this eco-school’s philosophy. This little village of teepees is a great microworld for children to learn and play.

Availability, functional differentiation, diverse use options, sustainable architecture, green tech and energy efficiency became the six pillars of the project.

The unique element here is an entrance portal shaped like a birdhouse and decorated with small bright bridhouses, which children can make on their own to further welcome starlings, titmice, wagtails, and other nice birds.
