The villa was designed for a private developer seeking a highly marketable property. We analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the location and considered the client’s brief. The site presented a challenge with an elevation difference of over 16 meters. The team designed a three-level space with corresponding functional zones. The shape of the villa was dictated by the characteristics of the plot and its steep slope.
The architecture was developed to orient the house toward the sea and the sunset, maximizing the view of the surrounding landscape. Based on this objective, the layout placed bedrooms with panoramic windows and relaxation areas to take full advantage of the vistas.
The project used simple yet aesthetically pleasing materials: plastered façades, laminated metal slats, and large-format porcelain tiles.
