About the project (provided by the applicant)
Villa 623 is situated on one of the picturesque slopes of the Greek island of Crete. The plot has an irregular shape, and the house is harmoniously integrated into the terrain. Despite its hillside location, the villa’s spaces are bright and airy, avoiding any sense of confinement. Rounded roof and canopy forms provide pleasant shade and protection from the harsh sun. Special attention was given to the microclimate: the inner courtyard and a spacious one-and-a-half-story space combining the kitchen and living room facilitate natural air circulation. The villa’s terrace is bordered by an impressive infinity pool, offering stunning views of the sea.

Traditional Cretan materials were used in the villa’s finishes: Cretan stone, marble, and limestone. Warm wood tones complement the overall color palette, emphasizing the authenticity of Greek architecture.
