Best Implemented Project of Temporary or Permanent Museum Exposition
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The exhibition showcases the most striking design solutions in the history of automotive, rail, and water transport in Russia over the past century. In four sections, it presents original historical artifacts, rare archival materials, and reconstructed models of unique vehicles that no longer exist. The transportation models cover periods from the first cars and motorcycles of the last century to modern electric ships and electric vehicles. A separate section highlights transport designers working at the intersection of technology and art.
At the pavilion’s portico, a large-scale installation immerses visitors in the exhibition’s atmosphere and theme. At its center is a nine-meter fragment of the body of the “Start” minibus, emphasizing structural solutions and forms. In addition to unique vehicles, the exhibition features works of contemporary art.
