To ensure year-round operation, the yacht club is complemented by sports sections, a hotel, and a park area. The concept envisions that the ideology of water sports would be relevant in Kronstadt, on marshy terrain suitable for a rowing canal. The artistic image is inspired by the idea of competition, capturing the most intense moment on the finish line. The dynamics of the sports architecture are set by elongated parallel horizontal parallelepipeds arranged with an offset. The cylindrical volume of the hotel serves as a static figure within the overall spatial composition. As a person moves along the waterfront, the parallelepipeds appear to move relative to the static cylinder. Considering the concept of the sports center, from its location to year-round functionality, a picture of a single, indivisible living organism emerges, where each element mutually complements and enriches the others.
