About the project (provided by the applicant)
The Marriage Palace complex is conceived as a multi-level building. The main halls for ceremonial events are designed as fully glazed cylindrical volumes. On the lower floors, there are rooms for ceremonies and guest accommodations. The upper floors house halls for civil registration ceremonies, a conference hall, terraces, and dining facilities.
The dynamic line of the main building with minimal glazing contrasts with the round glazed cylinders of the marriage halls. The glass facades allow natural light to penetrate inside, creating a sense of spaciousness and openness. The interior flows into the exterior: reflections of the building volumes on the water surface, play of light and shadow, and continuous glazing create the illusion of weightlessness, as if floating in the sky. Architectural forms and elements harmoniously contrast with the surrounding landscape, creating a sense of unity.
