About the project
Making structures less weighty can save a lot of finance — the lighter the building, the less load on the foundation, and the less load — the cheaper are the ground works. Floor slabs and basic structures of the building are lighter than usual. Totally reducing the weight of steel, glass, concrete and framing structures through the use of highly efficient spatial structural layouts, authors expect a three-time decrease in the building weight.
Recycled supertankers used as floating foundations will cut costs for the ground works by 90%.
Enclosures will be made of a Teflon membrane – it will be a tent with wear-resistant spherical windows made of acrylic base without any aluminum or glass.
