About the project (provided by the applicant)
Today's architecture no longer dictates a standardized life for a standardized individual. Instead, we embrace a plurality of experiences. The winds blow, the house sets off towards its destination, and the house is erected—a 120-day celebration of the wind in Iran. In Sistan and Baluchestan, there are deserts and plains that experience 120-day winds from late May to late September. In an age of energy scarcity, these renewable resources demand a new perspective. The traditional Asbad building, by using wind power to turn wheat into flour, becomes both a contextual and architectural precedent for us. We aim to extend this precedent, moving beyond mere utility to explore new possibilities. In a world where people are always in motion but homes remain static, we envisioned a house that travels with its inhabitants. It addresses the energy crisis while redefining the concept of living—turning the home into a partner in the journey of life and defining a new paradigm for off-grid living.
