About the project
Inspired by the majestic iceberg, Wintastar Shanghai, located in Lingang City in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai, is an integrated sport-entertainment-tourism development well-poised to be amongst Shanghai's tourism icons. With a massive site area of approximately 107,000 sqm and spanning a total gross floor area of 227,000 sqm, it is set to be the world's largest indoor ski and snow park resort upon its completion in 2022. It features an Alpine-themed village that highlights three different snow levels, including an Olympic-standard snow facility for training and a Nordic-themed water park. It also houses four themed hotels and serviced apartments—Montigo Luxe, Montigo Residences, Montigo Hotels, Montigo Ice—all managed by KOP Limited award-winning multigenerational hospitality brand, Montigo Resorts. The complex offers ski-in ski-out facilities, après-ski, indoor and outdoor waterslides, a beach club, an infinity pool, a retail street, and a unique ice hotel experience.
