Category
Best Implemented Project of Public Building or Facility
About the project (provided by the applicant)
Knyaginino is a student town, with one in five residents being a student. The main idea of the project is to create an art park that serves as a new student and public space while preserving and enhancing the natural features of the area.
The natural territory is complemented with objects acting as landmarks, each associated with a specific institute of Knyaginino University. By involving the student community in managing the area, the project increases the effectiveness of its use.
The key object of the meadow is the “Tower” pavilion. It serves a research purpose, intended for observing celestial bodies and hosting seminars, lectures, and workshops.
