The ZHODOCHI project embodies the philosophy of Integral Architecture — a method in which architecture, interior, and landscape are conceived as a unified whole. Here, the architectural volumes extend into the interior and, continuing outward, merge seamlessly with the landscape. Glass becomes merely a climatic boundary that does not interfere with the perception of the overall composition.
Thus, the massive terrace volume extends tangentially from the living room, simultaneously serving as the outer walls of the outdoor pool and as retaining walls within the landscape. The lower landscape level also supports the cantilevered projection of the house.
We abandoned the front fence along the road, opening the architecture to view and transforming the area in front of the house. The side fences are designed as extensions of the walls, making the overall composition appear more elongated and expressive.
In this way, the house becomes a unified space where every detail contributes to the sense of hedonistic delight — a feeling that, like high art, reaches into the deepest parts of the soul.
