About the project
The project intends to establish recreation grounds around the new Zenit Arena stadium. Inspired by Kise Kurosawa’s idea, who represented a stadium as a spaceship, the authors designed benches resembling space bodies to be installed around the stadium to make it more like a spaceship in space from the bird's eye panorama.

Another thing is that 55 years ago dogs were sent to space for the first time. The designers suggest that the memory of the space pioneers should be monumentalized in bass-reliefs on the benches. Every bench has a cast stone spherical center with matte shock-resistant glass sits on the sides, attached to the sphere with metal fastenings. The sphere will showcase a small portrait of one of the dogs.
