About the project
The 371 m2 villa located in Dubai, UAE was designed around nature and natural tones. Designing in an arid climate, it was crucial to incorporate sustainable strategies i.e. Passive Ventilation, Thermal Mass, and Evaporative Cooling from the feature pool. Finely-Detailed Travertine clads the eco-concrete structure giving a luxurious and elegant finish. The home was designed for the “new normal”, incorporating spaces that allow the residents to work from home or stay for extended periods of time while maintaining a healthy psychology. Both interior and exterior spaces were crafted around the home owner’s lifestyle and surrounding the dwellers in nature. Social areas were directed towards the garden and pool and are bathed in natural sunlight.
