About the project
The project born looking for the idea of the perfect house for family relaxation, that utopian residence with which many of us yearn to one day enjoy as in the most magical of dreams. Enhancing the design based on its natural context is what gives the main theme to this private residence. This discourse is possible through a highly functional architecture that reinterprets traditional architectural solutions and resources, thus pursuing the obtaining of a contemporary architectural space and at the same time authentically Cuban. A language where transparency and open spaces prevail through play with straight forms that create an articulated and minimalist volume that manages to blend into the exterior harmoniously. The scale is an element to highlight, which reaches higher hierarchy when raising the house on a basement and in this way the visuals are better exploited, highlighting the large terraces that unfold like the wings of a seagull that is taking flight.
