The «Architecture as Art» exhibition, showcasing the winners of the 2022 Golden Trezzini Awards, will open at the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg.
On August 30, 2023 at 16.00, the exhibition «Architecture as Art: Winners of the 5th Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design» will open at the Ioannovsky Ravelin exhibition venue within the Peter and Paul Fortress.
The exposition will present the winning projects from the 5th Golden Trezzini Awards, named after the first architect of St. Petersburg – Domenico Trezzini (1670–1734).
There were 1,123 applications from 74 countries submitted, 63 projects from 16 countries having been shortlisted by the Jury. The list of winners included projects from Brazil, China, Cuba, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Spain, and Thailand.
The exhibition will be welcoming visitors from August 31 through September 12. The access will be free of charge for everyone.
Meanwhile, through Sep 15, 2023, entries for the 6th Golden Trezzini Awards are accepted at https://www.goldtrezzini.ru/en/2023application/. Any projects by participants from all over the world are welcome as long as they have been designed or implemented after January 1, 2021. Participation in the Awards is free of charge.
