About the Project
The 24-storeyed building is visible from different places in the city. Therefore, composition-wise the accent was made on different-rise sections. The low-rise block lines Gurzufskaya Street, which is defined by 5-storeyed residential buildings. The high-rise section is shorter on the side lining another street. Floors from the 16thto the 24thbecame a separate block that completes the overall picture.
The building’s architecture is a triumph of functionalism: pure proportions, each detail matching the context. Accents of colors and materials of the facades are laconic.
The result is an unusual and bold concept for a residential building, based on pure proportionalizationand harmony of function and form.
