About the project

A performance inspired by the stories written by Sergey Kozlov, with dolls and masks dedicated to puppet maker Vladimir Zakharov.

A story of the Hedgehog’s magical dreams. A flying crocodile with large wings, a talking Rabbit, a family of Hippos from the ancient city of Kapatuki. These dreams are not the usual dreams that adults have. They are like a small child’s secret country, secret world; and this world has its own laws, inaccessible to the ordinary eye. Birch trees as Moscow City skyscrapers and totem poles in Africa. The sandbox on the playground becomes an African desert. And the Hedgehog’s doll is an homage to the Hedgehog by Vladimir Zakharov.
