About the project
The project of a bath and recreation complex in the premises of the Baltic Plant. There are some entertainment facilities around this street, and when there is a recreation thing, this development will definitely become a great urban resort. The author suggests referring to the traditional St. Petersburg baths, which at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century offered a vivid instance of thermal architecture. Besides conventional Russian baths, there were Turkish steam baths, cool pools, recreation and mud baths, as well as an assortment of cosmetic medicine procedures.
The designed building is divided into three units named depending on their space orientation – the Eastern, the Central, and the Western ones. There is an open-air pool at the roof with the vista over the Gulf of Finland.
