About the project
The floor plan of the house is created by 2 rectangular volumes placed side by side and separated by the staircase element connecting the night floor. Furthermore, the volume on the first floor, offset from the ground floor, rests on 2 tapered pillars that create a portico on the ground floor. On the first floor, however, the staggered flat roof becomes a «transparent» cover of the kitchen and service areas on the floor below.
The symmetry of the 2 volumes alternates with full and empty spaces created on the first floor, making the exterior and interior mix and create continuity.
