About the project
The memorial stands in a narrow linden tree lane near the memorial flat of the poet. Mr. Blok lived and worked there for 9 years. This was where he wrote some of his world-famous poems – The Twelve and The Nightingale Garden, his play The Rose and The Cross, the poetic series Carmen, Iambics, and others.

The bronze memorial is 3.6 m high, located on a basement of Karelian granite.

The inscription on the front side of the basement says, ‘To Alexander Blok.’
