About the project
The main idea of this conceptual and truly unique project was complete refurbishment of the Bolshoi Cinema. It required redevelopment, which included relocation of bathrooms from one side to the other and development of a new solution for the internal 60 meter-long facade. The cinema didn’t stop working, which made the project implementation even more challenging. The concept was inspired by the works by Zaha Hadid and the trendy parametric architecture with its series of slightly changing repeated elements. The cinema building features a synthesis of space and fantastic alien themes. The dynamic lighting solution utilizes chromotherapy, using various colors in dynamics.
