About the project
The house of 1,250 m2 stands on a hill at the Southern Portugal coast. Low-rise architectural solutions with prevalent horizontal lines help the house to merge into the environment.
The basement comprises service premises, whereas at the 1st floor rooms are alternated with closed gardens. The 2nd floor comprises a sitting room and a study that open to the terrace for a magnificent ocean view.
Locally made concrete, glass, and wood ensure zero carbon emission.
Concrete walls going beyond the façade line continue within the house and ensure the exterior-interior relation.
