Churilovskaya Valley Park

Best Project of Public Space

About the project
The Churilovskaya Valley Park is intended to solve a number of urban planning, social and environmental problems in the southern part of the Churilovsky ravine in Smolensk, which are irregularity of transport and pedestrian flows, pollution and urban decay.

The concept of Churilovskaya Valley Park provides for development of the site at the horizontal and vertical levels, including a public space at the underground floors of a public and business center and a park above the underground levels. The Time Spiral cascade fountain is the project’s highlight, and the main center of attraction for visitors will be the paleontological museum, located on 1-3 underground floors with access to the park via a ramp.
