Best Architectural Design for Museum

About the project
The author wants visitors of the museum to see the beauty of the miners’ work and the significance of it, telling a story of Kuzbass and its part in the Russian coal mining industry.
In plan, the blocks are 2- and 3-storey hexagon atoms with flat roofs.
The museum facades feature graphite bricks, their color and texture resembling fossil coal. Arches of the entrance group with soft warm lighting reconstruct the image of Kuzbass mines.
An open walking venue between the museum blocks is divided into several interactive zones.
