About the project
The country house was built for three generations of a large and close family. It is a fusion type cottage with lots of elements characteristic of American country houses. This is what is often called the coastal style. Located in a village, this country house is intended to convey the holiday feel. Another source of inspiration for both the customer and the designer were the elegant, marine style interiors in the Ralph Lauren Home collection. Therefore, the ceiling beams and wooden panels are combined with exquisite furniture, cotton velvet, brass and crystals. The customers’ eastern origin is also seen in the interior, giving it a distinct character. Moreover, the designer had to develop a solution to meet the requirements of all the family members, whose ideas about their dream home varied a lot.
