About the project
The first ever Arctic cultural hub built of shipping containers.
The project intends to unite the creative community of Murmansk and has become the attraction site for locals, engaging all the citizens with a liking for art. Tourists are welcome to come and have a look at the works created by local artists and performers.
12 real marine containers house galleries, a coffee house, studios, and multifunctional premises. They are installed to arrange a courtyard for outdoor events and an open-air cinema.
The venue has been operated for 2 months so far, but has already sited exhibitions by local artists, lectures, film shows, and an international urban art festival.
