Project
Dadirri — A Place to Reconnect

Best Landscape Architecture Project

About the project
The site is located in the temple complex near river Ghat in the medical hostel campus which contains heritage elements. It is mainly used by medical students and local visitors.
«Music is a treatment for reducing the stress and anxiety». Considering the Hindu mythological spirit enhances the value of place i.e. the existing sound-echo coming from the river with the holy atmosphere. Inserting the Aeolian harp will produce mild music and emphasized the echo. The strings form an artistic scene with the scattered natural light, shadow, and the sound of wind together present a rhythm, providing an experience of the diversity and richness of the environment.
Following the Hindu garden philosophy, “Everything is connected”. Creating a water channel on the site connects the heritage structures and flowing water every day makes the site live through its sound which gives the direction for the movements.
