Exhibition project “Deineka/Samokhvalov” dedicated to the 120th Birthday Anniversary of Alexander Deineka

Best Implemented Project of Temporary or Permanent Museum Exposition

About the project
The exposition features a dialogue of the outstanding masters and begins with a fragment of a spectator stand from the 1950—1970s. In front of it, there is a screen showing  a newsreel. The exposition is divided into sectors, namely Sport, Labor, Body, Heroes, War, and Peace, each colored from sandy golden to scarlet. Pictures, drawings, sculptures, photographs, books, personal possessions fill the space. The 1st floor features a football pitch with faux grass and a real 7-meter goal, and a sculpture group of football players. The contrasting, vibrant and dynamic exhibition concept restores the special atmosphere of the era, inviting visitors to immerse into it.
