About the project
The library is a milestone on every person’s way. The designer wants this exact facility to be a new landmark, a remarkable ‘milestone’ not only for the locals, but for people from the nearest points, too. By the way, Tosno used to be an important station on the way from St. Petersburg to Moscow.
All the disadvantages of the place were turned into features — for example, the corridors were redesigned to become enfilades. Special focus was on rezoning for better logistics, as well as on separation of the office premises from the public ones.
