Project
Free Fly Restaurant at Gagarin Airways Terminal

Nomination
Best Implemented Public Space Project

About the project
The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Gagarin Airways Terminal, in the holding area for domestic flight passengers.

Design and construction were performed on a really tight schedule. From getting the assignment to commissioning into operation, it only took 2.5 summer months.

The project provided for two zones: a visitor venue for 122 places, and a group of staff premises. The dining room is divided into two areas: with a food service counter, and with a bar, which are visually marked out with furniture and equipment colors. Total area of the restaurant is 276.4 m2.

The image of Free Fly matches the style of interiors within the airways terminal. The mission of the project was to establish a cozy and available place on the way from Saratov to any other place of the world. Here, passengers can have some good time and relax a bit before the flight.
