About the project
The house is designed on a rock slope at the ocean, in a natural zone. The key requirement of the local municipality was that the house had to be almost invisible against the natural landscape and modify it as little as possible – as the mountain it is to be located on is highly visible from the city.
This task was solved perfectly. From the highway, this two-storey house looks as if it has only one level, whereas from the ocean and the lower level of the city it can hardly be seen at all. Every level of the house has got enough natural sunlight and is surrounded by nature.
