About the project
According to the client’s brief, the villa was to be designed for a family of 4. Since the clients believe in nature, they wanted the design to be inspired by the concept of nature, which we were able to do in a way that the materials were handpicked.
The concept of Himadri, other than the predominant architectural factors, conveys a symbiotic relationship between architecture and elements of nature. The name ‘Himadri' means «a mountain of gold». It is referred to as such due to the innumerable blessings of nature (for eg. air, water, flora, fauna, etc.) that come from a mountain in its purest form.
The zoning of the spaces and levels in the villa was done in such a way that the interconnection between the semi-private and private spaces and the levels were maintained through the landscape pockets provided on each floor.

Founded by Ar. Sharma Yvk in the year 2018, Studio 8055 is an architectural and interior design firm based in Hyderabad.
Sharma Yvk graduated from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal in 2013 and has 10 years of experience in projects ranging from high-end corporate interiors to post-modern architecture.
