About the project
The Town of Chekists is a Constructionism memorial in Yekaterinburg, built in 1929 through 1936. Its layout is based on the images of the hammer, the sickle, the stars, and the flying flags. Currently, this architectural ensemble is disparate, without functional arrangements.
This is a project that would turn the site into a unique place, telling the visitors a story about the development of Constructionism in Ural and the history of this listed memorial.
Walkways, pavilions, and the bridge are integrated into the existing premises to ensure a comfortable place for a lively time.
